We started this company based on a small family business and then turning it to a group of company. Over the last 9 years, the company has flourished successfully, overcoming the worldwide pandemic and national economic decline.

As a Managing Director in a new sector of hospitality, we had to overcome the challenges in the industry, such as dependence on external factors, rising cost of daily consumables, rising competition, seasonal demand, high labour costs, high financing cost and sustainability issues. All being achieved successfully, we managed to have 5 guest houses operating smoothly.

York’s future hospitality trends are still overwhelmingly positive and will experience growth due to the City’s historical, rich culture, diversity and attracting global guests. Financial Year 2022-2023 Diamonds hospitality has achieved sales growth 13.79% and occupancy rate was 89 %, which is on the high end in par with the chain of competitors. We have achieved one of the highest occupancies in York, which has helped us to stay on the top of the search list with worldwide booking agents.

Each section of the organisation has development dynamically and some areas are an ongoing modification. My past experiences, has allowed me to gain a strong understanding of the importance of effectiveness and efficiency in organisational operations and working closely with the Diamonds team has helped me to show and prove a track record in developing and executing plans to achieve business objectives.

My passion and dedication for success has been motivating to forthright my leadership and to achieve its’ goals and objectives and realising them will exert a natural positive influence on everyone else in the business. I hope to bring wealth of knowledge in developing and leading teams as well as implementing strategic plans and look forward to new adventures to expand.

We, Diamonds team want to create an environment a ‘home like home’ experience for our guests and work hard to make sure consistently meeting customers’ expectations.
